- On the 2010-2011 MCAS, MATCH 10th graders ranked 1st in the state in student growth percentile based on their gains on the MCAS since the 8th grade.

- The MATCH School is one of 8 charter high schools in the nation cited for outstanding results, out of over 400 reviewed by the US Department of Education. All eight schools were noted for "setting and aggressively pursuing high expectations," "achieving success in closing achievement gaps," and "meeting the needs of underserved students." - MATCH was recognized in 2008, 2009 and 2010 by The Effective Practice Incentive Community (EPIC), an initiative of New Leaders for New Schools as one of the top charter schools in the country.
- The MATCH School was named a National Charter School of the Year for 2007 by the Center for Education Reform. - 99% of the first seven graduating classes - 2004 through 2010 - have been accepted into four-year colleges or universities. Their choices include Boston College, Brown, Dartmouth, Duke, Georgetown, Notre Dame, Smith, and Spelman College. Click here to see the entire list.
- In 2006, MATCH was named the #1 open-admissions Boston high school on the MCAS, out of 33 such schools. MATCH students are among the top-performing students in Massachusetts, eclipsing almost all suburban schools (see In The News)
- Daily Absenteeism is 3%. In most local high schools, Daily Absenteeism is about 10% to 15%
- In 2010, more than 550 students applied for just 70 freshman slots and over 350 applied for 90 6th grade slots

- In 2005, MATCH was named a Vanguard School by Mass Insight.
- MATCH was one of two schools nationwide to be chosen by the US Department of Education for its Advanced Placement Initiative, a major grant which began in 2004.
