Ms. Da Costa is from Brockton, MA and attended Lasell University where she earned a double bachelor's in legal studies/law and public affairs with a minor in public relations. She is very excited to join Match because she strongly believe in public service that works to better future generations. After her service year, she hopes to earn a JD to serve underrepresented communities that have fewer resources and face systematic disadvantages. Prior to Match, she was a full-time intern in Legislative Affairs for the Executive Office of Public Safety and Security. Aside from school and work, Ms. Da Costa loves to travel, read books, and just enjoy what life has to offer.

Mr. Das grew up in Midtown Atlanta. He studied Aerospace Engineering and later Data Science at the University of Colorado Boulder, where he conducted research and authored a published paper in the Astrophysical Journal. His professional experience includes Kaggle competitions and a pending aerospace patent in collaboration with Boeing. Beyond work, he enjoys coding, cooking, biking, rock climbing, and philosophical debates.

Ms. Ewoldt grew up in Las Vegas, NV. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature at the University of Nevada, Reno. She also traveled abroad to conduct research that focused on amplifying youth voices. She is eager to serve the students at Match and learn from them, too! Ms. Ewoldt enjoys reading (many different genres) and exploring the world.

Ms. Garcia grew up in Phoenix, AZ. She attended Arizona State University where she received her Bachelor's degree in Social Work. She has always had a passion for working in education and is eager to meet and work alongside students and their families. In her free time, Ms. Garcia enjoys spending time with her dogs, reading, and attending concerts.

KATHLEEN JIANG I Match HIGH School

Ms. Gunter grew up in Fredericksburg, TX. Between high school and college she spent a year in Italy learning the language and working as an Au Pair. She majored in English Creative Writing at the University of Arkansas. Ms. Gunter is particularly passionate about all forms of sustainability and creating inclusive communities. She loves the outdoors, reading, and board games.

LORRAINE HERNANDEZ I Match MIDDLE School

Ms. Garcia, a first-generation Latina student, passionately pursues psychology and mental health advocacy. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Psychology at the University of Idaho before embarking on an enlightening trip to London, comparing healthcare systems between the US and UK. This experience revealed the pervasive stigma surrounding mental health, especially in minority communities, and inspired her to establish a non-profit organization offering mental health support to underprivileged areas. Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Psychology, she aspires to become a clinical psychologist, committed to enhancing the well-being of those seeking mental health assistance. Ms. Garcia nurtures a love for travel that broadens her horizons to diverse cultures and her love for food. She eagerly anticipates guiding her students, empowering them to overcome generational barriers, develop essential skills, and cultivate the confidence necessary for their educational futures.


KATHLEEN JIANG I Match HIGH School

Ms. Jiang is from southern Connecticut. She attended the University of Connecticut in Storrs, where she majored in English and minored in Communications. After graduating, she found an opportunity to explore her interest in education through the Match Corps program, where she hopes to positively impact students at Match High School. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys reading, cooking, and playing video games. 


Megha Malik I Match Middle School

Ms. Malik grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada and attended the University of Nevada, Reno for her undergraduate studies. She double majored in Biology and Anthropology with a minor in Art, and hopes to go into Museum Studies with a focus on South Asian Art and Culture. Her favorite book is One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez, and her favorite band is the Strokes.


Issiah Martinez I Match High School

Mr. Martinez grew up in Arizona's Phoenix/ Metro area. He attended Arizona State University and received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. While living in Arizona, he volunteered in various opportunities based on social-emotional competencies in adolescents. He spends his time writing or cooking and enjoys dancing and the creative process of making music.

Mr. Rainey is from Washington, GA. He attended Georgia Southern University where he earned a degree in Health and Physical Education. Upon graduating college, he wanted to jump into the classroom immediately and impact students. He is an aspiring educator and loves coaching sports. On Sundays he is rooting for the Chargers, and every other day he is rooting for the Clippers.

Ms. Robertson is from Wilmington, DE and grew up in Bear. She attended college at Wilmington University where received a Bachelor's degree in Visual Communications. As she joins the Match community, Ms. Robertson is looking forward to connecting with students and gain more experience in the education field. Prior to Match, she completed service with the Mental Health Association as a curriculum developer and designer through Public Allies. Her passion is photography, and she hopes to fill the gap and connect education to creative arts.

MARS VILLEGAS-MCFADDEN I Match MIDDLE School

Mx. Villegas-McFadden grew up in Northern Virginia. They attended Cal Poly University, San Luis Obispo, earning a degree in Ethnic Studies and a minor in Women's Gender and Queer Studies. While they were completing their studies, they also accumulated experiences working in and managing coffee shops, and one day hope to open their own. In the meantime, they look forward to getting to know, teach, work, and bond with the students at Match. They are incredibly passionate about their course study (Ethnic Studies/CRT) and hope to apply and share that lens in their work with the students at Match. In their free time, they enjoy painting, drawing, making candles, watching movies, and spending time with their three adorable cats.
